What you bring…
- Successful completion of Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or commitment to obtain within a specified period of time, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations)
- Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
- Able to cope with physical and emotional demands of the position
- Geriatric, long term care experience beneficial
- Experience in long term care food service an asset, including texture modified diets, therapeutic and production spreadsheets
- Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
- Punctual and reliable
Starting rate of pay is $20.08 per hour with terms and conditions of employment per the Collective Agreement.
