What you bring…

Post-secondary diploma/certificate in office or business administration (or comparable).

A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Knowledge of payroll, scheduling, benefit administration, interpretation and application of collective agreement provisions, accounts receivable, and accounts payable practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy when responding to telephones, greeting visitors, and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational, prioritization and time management abilities to ensure that assignments are completed with deadlines and established time frames

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to determine effective ways to present correspondence, reports, charts, tables and presentations.

Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact.

Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act and its Regulations, RHRA Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Employment Standards Act and other relevant legislation.

Experience in a Unionized environment is considered an asset
